Being a patient can be a scary experience. Environmental Service providers have the opportunity to positively impact their overall care experience. The care and consideration our team extends to your patients will lead to the added benefit of improving HCAHPS scores.

We expect all our Care Team members to approach patients, their family members, coworkers, healthcare staff, and visitors with genuine empathy. That’s why we developed our own EVS-centered version of the AIDET training platform. Our technicians use this training to guide their patient interactions. AIDET training is widely used across the spectrum of healthcare services, and we have seen great results by implementing it in an EVS setting.

We have found that hiring outgoing and empathetic people and training them in AIDET principles can result in deeply rewarding work. These tools empower our employees when interacting with people during some of the most difficult phases of their lives. The genuine compassion shown by our EVS employees can provide patients with peace of mind in critical moments.
